Anchor

AI for alienated fathers. Software for men who have lost contact with their children and are trying to navigate courts, documents and their own heads.

Anchor

Anchor exists because there is a large group of men handling one of the hardest situations a person can be in, largely alone, mostly at night, with no one to ask. Family court processes are slow, document-heavy and emotionally brutal, and legal help is expensive enough that most people ration it.

What software can genuinely do here is narrow and useful: keep an ordered record of what happened and when, help someone write a calm message instead of the one they want to send at 2am, explain what a document means in plain language, and be available at the hour when nobody else is.

What it must never do is pretend to be a lawyer or a therapist. That line is the product. Everything we build gets tested against it, and we say no to features that blur it.

Timeline

  1. Start

Conversations with fathers, and a lot of listening before writing any code.

  2. Build

Records, timelines and drafting — the boring parts that carry the most weight.

  3. Now

In use, growing slowly and deliberately.

Current status

Active and early. This is the most personally important thing I work on, and the one I am most careful about.
